Terms of Service

1. Scope

These terms apply to all use of sepiace, including the MCP server at hi.sepiace.io and this website. By using sepiace, you agree to these terms.

In these terms, the operator means [Operator name], and you means anyone who uses sepiace.

The Privacy Policy and the Pricing page also apply to your use of sepiace.

These terms are written in English and Japanese. If the two versions differ, the Japanese version prevails.

2. Beta

sepiace is provided as a beta. Its features, specifications, usage limits, and fees may change as the service develops.

Whenever possible, the operator announces important changes on this website or by email before they take effect.

3. Accounts

• You create an account and sign in with your email address. Use an email address that you own and can receive mail at.
• An account is for one person. Do not share your account or let others use it.
• You are responsible for managing your email and the MCP clients you connect. Anything a connected client or agent sends to sepiace is treated as sent by you.
• If you suspect that someone else is using your account, contact the operator promptly.
• You can ask the operator to delete your account at any time through the contact below.

4. Fees

Fees and usage limits follow the Pricing page. If you use a paid plan, you pay the fees shown there.

The operator announces fee changes on this website before they take effect.

Fees already paid are not refunded, except where required by law or stated on the Pricing page.

5. Prohibited conduct

When using sepiace, you must not do any of the following.

• Violate laws or public order and morals.
• Infringe the rights of others, including intellectual property rights, privacy, and reputation.
• Store other people’s personal information without a lawful basis.
• Access, or try to access, other users’ accounts or memories.
• Place an excessive load on the service, or get around its rate limits or usage limits.
• Interfere with the operation of the service, such as by sending malware or probing for vulnerabilities without the operator’s permission.
• Resell sepiace, or provide it to third parties as a service, without the operator’s permission.
• Create accounts in bulk by automated means, or impersonate others.
• Any other conduct that the operator reasonably judges to be similar to the above.

6. Your data

• The requests you send and the memories stored from them belong to you. The operator does not acquire any rights to them.
• You allow the operator to store and process your data, and to send it to the external services described in the Privacy Policy, only as far as needed to provide and maintain sepiace.
• The operator does not use your data to train machine learning models.
• You guarantee that you have the right to send the data you send to sepiace.
• When your account is deleted, the operator deletes your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Changes to and suspension of the service

• The operator may change, add, or remove features of sepiace.
• The operator may suspend all or part of sepiace without notice for maintenance, failures, outages of external services such as Cloudflare or OpenRouter, disasters, or other unavoidable reasons.
• The operator may end sepiace. In that case, the operator announces it on this website or by email, with a reasonable period of notice.
• If you violate these terms, the operator may suspend your use of sepiace or delete your account.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

• sepiace is provided as is. The operator does not guarantee that it is free of errors, that it is always available, or that it fits your particular purpose.
• sepiace decides automatically what to save, recall, and forget. It may fail to save something, save something you did not intend, or forget something you wanted to keep. Memories that go unused become harder to recall. Do not rely on sepiace as the only place you keep important information.
• Decisions and actions your agent takes based on memories are your responsibility.
• If the operator is liable to you for damage arising from sepiace, the liability is limited to direct and ordinary damage, up to the total fees you paid the operator in the 12 months before the damage occurred.
• This limit does not apply to damage caused by the operator’s intent or gross negligence, or where the law does not allow it.

9. Changes to these terms

The operator may change these terms when the change is in the general interest of users, or when it is reasonable in light of the purpose of these terms and the circumstances of the change.

Before a change takes effect, the operator posts the new terms and their effective date on this website. If you keep using sepiace after that date, you are treated as having agreed to the new terms.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan.

The district court with jurisdiction over the operator’s location has exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance over any dispute relating to sepiace.
